How Fiction Ignition Works
Fiction Ignition is a collaborative story coaching service for multi-published authors writing commercial genre fiction, including fantasy, romance, thriller, mystery, suspense, science fiction, and subgenres like romantasy, historical mystery, and romantic suspense, in contemporary, historical, fantasy, and science fiction settings.
Before our first call, you'll complete an in-depth story survey that surfaces exactly where the novel needs work. You can also share up to 20 pages of supporting materials, whether that's prose, planning documents, character notes, or anything else that helps me get up to speed on your story quickly.
From there we diagnose what this novel needs and build the blueprint together across four evenly spaced coaching calls. The schedule is flexible and can be adapted around your life.
Between calls, we agree on what you'll work on based on where you are in the project and what will have the greatest impact on reader experience or clarify any decisions you're facing. I review everything you produce before our next call.
